Ruxton is an unincorporated area in Baltimore County. It is sometimes considered a part of Towson and is part of Towson's census area. The boundaries of Ruxton have been established largely by local custom. A secluded pocket of green hills and trees just outside of the northern boundary line of Baltimore, Ruxton is a conveniently located and surprisingly rural neighborhood.
